Obituary	Miss McCrillis Dies Suddenly, Aged 71 Miss Genieve F. McCrillis, 71, died Sunday afternoon at the local hospital. She apparently suffered an ill turn some time Friday afternoon, while in the shed at her home, and was found by neighbors later that evening in an unconscious condition. Funeral services were conducted at the First Universalist Church on Tuesday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. Theodore A. Webb. Bearers were Reynold Thompson, Clarence Pierce, Harry Blake, Stanley Field, Thomas Ambrose, Nathan C. Bucknam, Clyde Mower and Charles Ansell. She was born in Dexter Oct. 11, 1877, in the house where she had always lived, the daughter of Charles P. and Emma Snow McCrillis. Following her graduation from Dexter High School, she assisted her father in his grocery business for many years. Miss McCrillis was a member of the First Universalist Church, a charter member of the Sunshine Club, a member of Rebecca Weston Chapter, D. A. R., the U. F. Club and the Dexter Woman's Literary Club. She took an active part in all of their affairs. The only survivors are second cousins, among them being Edward Bayard, Mrs. Madeline Donahue, both of Orono; Miss Ruth and Miss Jessie Lord, Bangor; Clayton Bayard, New York City; Mrs. Ethel Pettingill, Mattawamkeag; Frank James, New Britain, Conn.; Mrs. Rose Shaw, Portland; John McCrillis, Newport, N. H.; and Mrs. G. McEnnay, Cedar Rapids, Ia.
