Obituary	William J. Haseltine William J Haseltine, for many years one of Dexter's leading merchants, passed away at his home Saturday as a result of a shock of paraly- sis suffered a week ago, from the effects of which he failed to rally. The deceased had been in business on Main street for a longer period than any of the local merchants, having entered his business career in 1887. He was born in this town June 16, 1855, the son of William and Elizabeth Haseltine and practically his entire life has been spent here. Mr. Haseltine was a member of Bedivere lodge of Knights of Pythias, having joined the order soon after its organization here. He was a man who enjoyed the friendship of a large number of people and his passing, is a matter of general regret. Besides his widow the deceased is survived by a son, Willis G. Haseltine of this town and a brother, Joseph Haseltine, of Pittsfield. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Baptist church.
