Obituary	Mrs. F. E. Burgess Mrs. Mary E. Burgess, wife of Dr. Frank E. Burgess of this town passed away early last Thursday morning at her home on Pleasant street, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. E. A. Shepherd, of this town, and a grandson, Reynold Thompson, of Machias. The deceased was born in this town, July 17th, 1851 and has lived here all her life, where she has many friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services were held Saturday forenoon at 10 o'clock from the home, Mrs. Mary Drake Jenne of Etna officiating. The bearers were Albert L. Davis, Daniel Lane, Fred Gove and Harry Tillson. The remains were placed in Mt. Pleasant receiving tomb.
