Obituary
Mrs. Josephine Gee Mrs. Josephine Frances Gee passed away Saturday morning with pneumonia following only a day's illness. Mrs. Gee came here with her daugh- ter, the late Mrs. Fred Pulsifer, 12 years ago and following her daughter's death remained with her son-in-law, who has cared for her since. She was born in Freeport, Oct. 5, 1882 and lived there until after the death of her husband, when she moved to Auburn. In former years she was affiliated with both the Pythian Sisters and Rebekah Lodges. She was an attendant at the Congregational church. Besides two nieces in Freeport, her only survivor is her son-in-law, Fred Pulsifer, of this town. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on Fay Court, Rev. W. H. Johnson of the First :Baptist church officiating. The bearers were Dr. H. L. Haskell, W. L. Fay, George Lincoln and Stanley Field. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb awaiting burial in the spring at Mechanic Falls.
