Obituary
Marion E. Tucker Marion E. Tucker, night watchman at the Amos Abbott Woolen Company died at his work, of heart failure, Monday morning, Nov. 11th, between 1.30 and 2 o’clock. He went to his work as usual Sunday night at 9.30, feeling in the best of health and was discovered at 2.45 o'clock in the boiler room dead, by C. F. D. Marsh, night officer, who was making his usual nightly call at the mill. Mr. Tucker was born in Islesboro, March 1, 1886. He had been employed as night watchman for the Amos Abbott Company since Sept. 23, 1900, where he was a valued employe. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Liler E. Tucker, two daughters, Mrs. Sidney Pendleton, of Islesboro, and Miss Hope Tucker, a teacher in Wellington, and one son, Leigh E. Tucker, of Boston, by two sisters, Mrs. Theodore Smith, of this town and Mrs. W. E. Kendall, of Bangor, and W. C. Tucker, his only brother, of Waterville. The family have the deepest sympathy of a wide circle of friends. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services were officiated by Rev. W. H. Dunham.
