Obituary	William Farnham Funeral services for the late William Farnham were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on the Sangerville road, Rev. W. H. Johnson of the Dexter First Baptist church officiating. Interment was in the Jackman Corner cemetery. Mr. Farnham was a Civil war veteran, having served in two regiments, the 8th Maine and the 22d Maine. He was born in Sangerville 85 years ago and has always lived in the vicinity of Jackman's Corner on farms. His wife, the late Sarah E. Abbott, daughter of Willard Abbott, passed away six years ago. Eleven years ago Mr. Farnham sustained a shock, from which he never fully recovered, passing away last Thursday. He is survived by two sons, Willard Farnham, who lives on the home place, and Herbert J. Farnham, of Dexter; by two daughters, Mrs. Byron Robbins of this town and Mrs. Sanford Bailey of Cambridge; also by two sisters, Mrs. Susie Gordon of Dexter and Mrs. George W. Leathers of Lewiston.
