Obituary
Levi Clukey Funeral services for the late Levi Clukey were held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Ann's Catholic church, Rev. Fr. Patrick Hayes officiating. The deceased passed away Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Ronco, on Water street, after a long period of failing health. He was born in Canada 88 years ago and came to Dexter 70 years ago, where he was employed in the mills until failing health forced him to retire. For many years he lived at North Dexter, where he was a member of the grange and was highly respected by all. His wife passed away more than 20 years ago. Only one brother survives Mr. Clukey out of a large family, Charles Clukey of this town, now being the only survivor. The children now living are: Levi, Jr., of Dexter; Eddie, of Old Town; Mrs. Mamie Newell, of Waterville; Herbert, of Jackman; George, Harry and Bert, of North Dexter and Mrs. Nellie Ronco, of Dexter. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
