Obituary	Mrs. Walter Farnham Mrs. Mabel Thomas Farnham, wife of Walter Farnham, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 7th, at her home on the North Dexter road, after an illness of six months, during which time she was a great sufferer. Mrs. Farnham was born in Sangerville 50 years ago and was a woman of sterling character and highly respected by everyone. She leaves besides her husband, one son, Elwin Farnham, of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Geo. Dews, of Waterville and a brother, Abner Thomas, of Cambridge. Funeral services were held Monday at the home, Rev. W. H. Johnson of the First Baptist church speaking words of comfort. The many floral tributes were unusually beautiful, showing the high esteem in which she was held. The bearers were: Elmer Dexter, James Ordway, Weldon Cornors and Geo. Leighton. Interment was in the Jackman cemetery.
