Obituary	William Thurston The death of William Thurston occurred at the home of his mother, Mrs. Cordelia Thurston, on Lower Main street in this town Saturday after- noon at 1 o'clock, after a year's illness. He was born in Dexter 56 years ago, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Henry Thurston, and except for a few years of residence in Pittsfield, has spent his life in this town. His father passed away just one year ago this week, but his mother sur- vives him, also a son, Cecil Thurston, of Carney Point, N. J., and a daughter Mrs. Hilda Hatch, of Pittsfield, and six grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother, also survive him, Mrs. Gertrude Forgett, of Boston, Mrs. Georgia Burton, of Dexter and Harry Thurston, also of Dexter. Funeral services were held from the home of his mother, Tuesday forenoon at 10 o'clock and interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were, Joseph Parkman, Fred Parkman, Alton Puffer and Elwin Puffer.
