Obituary
Wilson P. Hamilton News of the sudden death of Wilson P. Hamilton of this town brought regret to a large circle of friends of the family Tuesday morning. Although he had been in failing health for several years his condition was not considered serious, but he suffered a shock Tuesday morning from which he never rallied. The deceased was born in Dexter 76 years ago and has always resided here. He was in business for a number of years in the firm of French & Hamilton and for many years, worked for Howard Jones in his market, later being employed for several marketmen in town. He was a past Noble Grand of Plymouth lodge of Odd Fellows and Past Chief Patriarch of Silver Lake Encampment. Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Hamilton; a daughter, Mrs. Harry Wilkins of this town; a son, Chester Hamilton, of Bangor. The family has the deep sympthy of the community. Funeral services will be conducted by the lodge of Odd Fellows this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home on Spring street, the officiating clergyman to be Rev. Aubrey Winsor, pastor of the Essex Street Baptist church of Bangor.
