Obituary
Mary Bernice Riley The many friends of Mary Bernice Riley, daughter of Felix Riley of Block Island, N. Y., and the late Pauline Mountain Riley, were grieved to learn of her death Monday morning at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Mountain, on Main street, where she has always made her home. Miss Riley has been in ill health for the past year, being obliged to leave school last April, her health having gradually failed and for the past two months she has been confined to her bed. Loving hands have cared for her tenderly and all that medical science could offer were without avail. Bernice, as she was always called, was born in Dexter, July 30, 1913. She was a member of the class of 1930 of the N. H. Fay High school. Of sunny disposition, she was loved by all who knew her. Her untimely death is regretted by a wide circle of friends. She is survived by her father, Felix Riley, of Block Island, N. Y., her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Mountain, with whom she always lived; by two aunts, Mrs. Elsie Clukey and Mrs. Victoria Bolduc, and one uncle, Eugene Mountain, all of this town. The family have the sincere sympathy of a wide circle of friends. Funeral services were conducted from St. Ann's church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. Father Patrick Hayes officiating.
