Mrs. Mary K. Moses Funeral services for Mrs. Mary K. Moses, 65, wife of Charles T. Moses, of this town, were held Saturday afternoon at the First Universalist church with the Rev. T. A. Webb officiating. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mrs. Moses, who died Wednesday at her home on Pine street after a long illness, was born Oct. 17, 1883, in Boston, the daughter of Frederick and Nancy (Burrill) Knowles. She was a graduate of Sangerville High School and Castine Normal School, and taught for a few years in Maine costal towns. She was employed for a number of years as bookkeeper at the George H. Hall and Sons canning factory; was chief clerk at the Dexter Office of Price Administration; and at the time of her retirement, due to illness, was employed by C. N. Pierce. She was a member of the Corinna Chapter, O. E. S., the Sunshine Club and the First Universalist Ladies' Aid. Surviving besides her husband, are a son, Carl K. Moses of Schenectady, N. Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Beecher of Portland; a brother, Nathaniel Knowles of Brewer; and a grandson, John E. Moses, of Schenectady.
