Obituary	Edwin Cowan Edwin Cowan, aged about 70 years died Tuesday after a short illness at the home of Mrs. Nancy Dunton on the Pullen road. near Spooner's Mills. Mr. Cowan has been a resident of this town only a few years and was employed in the woods, cutting wood. His remains were taken Tuesday af- ternoon to the undertaking rooms of Hutchinson & Gates. The death of Mr. Cowan revealed to the town authorities an unfortunate condition in the Dunton home. Mrs. Dunton was found to have double pneumonia and shortly after the remains of Mr. Cowan were removed to the undertaking rooms, First Selectman Frank Z. Brown and Miss Olive Bonsey, public health nurse, went to the home and removed the sick woman to the Plummer Memorial hospital.
