Obituary	Maynard E. King Maynard E. King died in a Bangor hospital Monday and the remains were brought to this town Monday night. He was born in East Corinth, July 29, 1849, the son of Silas and Martha Whittemore King. As a boy he attended the schools of East Corinth. He later moved to Charleston. Here he became a charter member of Olive Branch, F. & A. M. About 21 years ago he moved to Dexter and transferred his membership to Penobscot Lodge, to which hehas since belonged. He was also a member of Dexter grange. He had been in failing health for the past eight years and seriously ill for the past few years. The funeral was held in the First Baptist church Wednesday, at 10 o'clock, the Masonic service being used under the direction of Penobscot lodge. Rev. W. H. Johnson officiated. He is survived by his wife, Edna M. King; two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Wright and Mrs. Minetta Dearborn, of Boston.
