Obituary
Paul Young The community was saddened last Thursday afternoon by the news of the death of Paul Young, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Young on School street. He had been ill less than two weeks with what was thought to be rheumatic fever and was taken to the Plummer Memorial hospital, where he might have the best possible care. His condition grew worse, however, and he died early last Thursday afternoon. The young man was a favorite with many, a Senior in N. H. Fay High school. He is survived by his parents, a sister, Rachel, and a brother, Philip, both younger. The family has the deep sympathy of all who know of their loss. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the First Universalist church and were largely attended by friends. Rev. William J. Metz, pastor officiated. A profusion of beautiful flowers bore silent testimony of the high seteem in which this young boy was held by all who knew him. The bearers were school mates at the High school: Carl Crocker, Wendel Brewster, Stanford Blake, Howard Davis, William Metz, Jr., Elmer Fortier, Jr. Interment was in Mount Pleasant.
