Obituary	Donald Upton Friends of Donald Upton were sorry to learn of his death which occurred at a Bangor hospital Wednesday night of last week, following a long illness. Funeral services were held from the First Baptist church Friday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. W. H. Johnson officiating. The remains were taken to Fort Fairfield for interment. Mr. Upton was born in Fort Fairfield, 42 years ago, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Upton of this town. He was a graduate of Hebron and spent four years in the Hawaiian Islands. He was an all around athlete who at- tained prominence throughout the state in baseball. Mr. Upton was a member of Pioneer lodge, I. 0. 0. F., of Fort Fairfield. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gorge Upton, of Dexter, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ross DuBourdieu of Dexter and one brother Roy Upton of Presque Isle. The family have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
