Obituary
Frank Gordon Frank Gordon passed away in Bangor last Thursday at the age of 86 years, and funeral services for him were held Saturday atfernoon at 2 o'clock. He was born in St. Albans and for many years was a resident of Dexter. For the past eight years he had lived in Bangor. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ida Hardy of Ashburnham, Mass., and Mrs. Florence A. Prentice of Bangor; two nephews, William Gordon and Elmer Gordon of Skowhegan and five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mr. Gordon was a member of Co. F. 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry, and served throughout the Civil War. He was also a member of the Sanford post, G. A. R., of North Adams, Mass. and of the Methodist church of Bellows Falls, Vt. Mr. Gordon's kindness, his active interest in his friends and old time, Civil War comrades, endeared him to a wide circle, who will deeply regret his passing.
