Obituary	Mrs. Susan Meigs The many friends of Mrs. Susan Meigs, widow of Nelson E. Meigs, for many years a prominent merchant in this town, were grieved to learn of her death Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home on Free street, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Meigs was a prominent club woman having been a past president of the Dexter Woman's Literary Club, she was a member of Rebecca Weston Chapter, D. A. R., and the First Universalist church and for many years was a member of the choir. Mrs. Meigs was a charming vocalist and was for many years prominent in musical circles in this section. Mrs. Meigs was born in Coventry, R. I., but came here many years ago. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Sarah Adams, of Medford Hillside, Mass., by several nephews and a niece. Funeral services were at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the First Universalist church. Members of the Dexter Woman's Literary Club attended in a body.
