Obituary
Mrs. Charlotte Webber Mrs. Charlotte Webber, widow of the late T. L. Webber, passed away Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leigh Cyphers, on Prospect street where she has made her home for the past seven years. She was born in Jay 85 years ago and lived for a long time in Massachusetts before coming to Dexter 40 years ago. She was a graduate of Kent's Hill, Wilton Academy and of Salem Normal School in Salem, Mass. She taught school in Massachusetts for a number of years in the grade schools before returning to Maine. Mrs. Webber was a woman much respected and loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Baptist church, the Woman's Relief Corps, Dexter Grange and of the Neighborly Neighbors' club. The following sons and daughters survive her: Mrs. F. W. Hill, Bangor; C. H. Webber, Car- rie Webber and Mrs. Grace Cyphers, Dexter; Willis Webber, Wakefield, Mass.; Mrs. Fred Osborne, Roxbury, Mass.; Mrs. Lewis Charbonneau, Waltham, Mass.; and Mrs. Ralph Palmer of Sangerville. Funeral services were held at the Cyphers home Thursday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Johnson of the First Baptist church officiating.
