Obituary
Miss Isabelle D. Dinsmore The death of Miss Isabelle D. Dinsmore occurred suddenly Saturday, May 24th at the Maine General hospital in Portland, where she had been in failing health for six weeks. Miss Dinsmore was a resident of Malden, Mass., but had spent the greater part of life in Ballardvale, but for several years had spent her summers in Portland with her brother and family. She had a large circle of friends and was much loved by all who knew her. She was loving, kind and generous and was a great lover of dumb animals and her motto was live and let live. She was a woman of great patience, never complaining although having been lame for a num- ber of years, caused by a fall. She was a daughter of the late Sylvanus Dinsmore of Dexter. She is survived by a brother, Ernest Linwood Dinsmore, and wife with whom she made her home at the time of her sickness, also several cousins, Mrs. Rose Burns and Mrs. Mabel Welch of Dexter, and Harry Dinsmore of South Portland, Mrs. Bertha Everetts of Rockland, Mrs. Alice Oliver of Garland, George Dinsmore of Washington, D. C., also several nieces and nephews. Burial was at Forest City cemetery at South Portland.
