Obituary	James A. Ballard Funeral services for the late James A. Ballard were held from his home in this town last Saturday, Rev. W. H. Johnson officiating. Plymouth lodge, I. O. O. F., attended in a body, and conducted the services. Mr. Ballard was born in Argyle, sixty-three years ago, but has resided in Dexter for the past thirty-five years. He has been in failing health for a long time, but bore his sufferings to the last bravely, and made no complaint. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Jennie Ballard, who cared for him tenderly during his long illness. He also leaves to mourn his death, two brothers, I. A. Ballard and Ora Ballard, both of Old Town, and one sister, Mrs. Cora Getchell, of Hampden. The many beautiful flowers from relatives and friends and from the lodge to which he belonged, were a silent testimony of the love and esteem in which Mr. Ballard was held.
