Obituary
Wm. A. Harling The remains of the late William A. Harling of Lowell, Mass., formerly of Dexter, were brought here Wednesday and taken to the undertaking rooms of Hutchinson & Gates, where prayer was said by Rev. W. H. Dunham of the Methodist Episcopal church. The remains were placed in Mt. Pleasant receiving tomb, awaiting burial in the spring. Mr. Harling was a native of England and lived during his early life in this vicinity. At one time he owned a farm in Garland, about a mile and a half from Haseltine's Corner. He married Miss Lettie Daggett, a sister of Nathan Daggett of this town. She survives him, also two sisters, Mrs. Flora Day of Melrose, Mass., and Mrs. Lizzie Bucknam, of Belgrade, both of whom accompanied the remains here. The deceased was about 70 years of age and for the past 15 years had been a semi-invalid due to a railroad accident in Texas, where he was residing at that time. He has been a member of Plymouth lodge of Odd Fellows about 40 years, retaining his membership until his death.
