Obituary	Mrs. Clara E. Ellis News reached Dexter Saturday of the death in Beverly, Mass., of Mrs. Clara E. Ellis, widow of the late Columbus W. Ellis. She was born in Guilford nearly 80 years ago and spent her early years there. After her marriage they went to live on a large farm in North Guilford and soon after the death of her husband, Mrs. Ellis came to Dexter, where she made a host of friends, who regret her passing. For the past few years she has spent her summers in Dex- ter with her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Edes, and her winters in Beverly with her son, Merton Ellis, at whose home she died. She bad been in failing health for the past year. Besides the son and daughter already mentioned another daughter, Miss E. Rebecca Ellis, lives in Natick Mass. She has one brother, Otis W. Cobb, of Portland; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday at 1lo'clock at the Edes home on High street.
