Obituary	Eugene R. Patterson, 79, former Dexter resident, died Sept. 5, at his home in Sabattus after a brief illness. Born in Sangerville Jan. 19,1869, son of George and Maria Shepard Patterson, he moved to Dexter at an early age and lived here many years. In 1988 he married Miss Lettie Keyes. Mr. Patterson traveled for the Empire Milking Machine Company for years, retiring in 1928 to make his home in Turner. He moved to Sabattus three years ago. He was a member of I. 0. 0. F. and A. F. and A. M. Survivors besides his widow are a daughter, Mrs. Bernice McKechnie of Sabattus; a sister, Mrs. Cora Robinson of Dexter; a nephew Edward Robinson; a granddaughter, Mrs. Walter Garey of Auburn; and three great grandchildren of Auburn. Funeral services were held Sept. 8, at the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham and Son, Auburn. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Dexter.
