Obituary	Mrs. Sarah R. Boynton Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah R. Boynton, who died at the home of her son, James Boynton, on Free street, last Thursday morning, were held from the Methodist church in Ripley Saturday, at 10 oclock. The Rev. Horace Hayes, pastor of the Free Baptist church officiated. The many beautiful flowers bore silent testimony of the esteem in which the deceased was held. The bearers were: Nathan Bucknam, Leroy Whitney, Albert Davis and Frank W. Haines. Burial was in the Ferndale cemetery in Ripley. Mrs. Boynton was born in St. Albans 78 years ago, the daughter of William Rand and Elizabeth Boston Rand. The early part of her life being spent in Ripley, but for the past 20 years she had lived in this town. She was a member of the Free Baptist church and the Grange. She is survived by her son, James Boynton, and one brother, John Rand, of Eau Claire, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.
