Obituary	Mrs. Pluma Mower The many frineds of Mrs. Pluma Mower were grieved to hear of her death which occurred at her home at 8:30 Thursday evening, Sept. 3d. Mrs. Mower was working in her garden Thursday afternoon, when she suffered a shock from which she never rallied. Mrs. Mower was born in Barnard Feb. 26, seventy-seven years ago, the daughter of the late Elias and Louise Dean. She was first married to Willard Watson of Wellington who died in 1882. In 1884 she married the late Henry Mower of Dexter. She 1ived in this town for 48 years leaving the last few years to spend the winter in California with her sister-in-law. She was a past president of the H. F. Safford Relief Corps and a prominent member of Dexter Grange and the Methodist Episcopal church. Funeral services were held at the home on Zion's Hill Sunday morning at 10.30, the Rev. W. H. Johnson officiating. The house was filled with neighbors and friends and the floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were John Murphy, Bela Small, Herbey Cram and Lewis Livermore, all nephews-in-law of the deceased. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Mrs. Myron Smart of Milo; Mrs. Phylis Keith, Charleston; Mrs. Guy Crockett, Salmon Falls, N. H.; Kenneth Lancaster, Sebec; Edwin and Maynard Ames, Sebec, Dana Small, Guilford; Mrs. Lewis Livermore, Sebec: Mrs. Bela Small, Guilford and Mrs. Herbey Cram, Bucksport.
