Obituary
Mary A. Foss Mrs. Mary A. Foss, widow of the late Dr. Charles M. Foss, passed away at her home on Maple street, Monday, at the age of 85 years. She had been ill for several weeks. Funeral services will be held from the home this afternoon at 3 o'clock fast time. The deceased was born in Gardiner, the daughter of the late Hiram G. and Mary Tilton Judkins, who later were residents of Dexter. The family lived in Monmouth during Mrs. Foss' girlhood and she came to Dexter to live at the time of her marriage in 1870 and has since made her home here continuously. She was an ac- complished musician and kept up her piano practice late in life. For a number of years she was a member of Martha Washington Rebekah lodge and was pianist for the lodge meetings for several years. Mrs. Foss is survived by one son, Charles H. Foss, of this town, by two granddaughters, Mrs. Clarence R. Crosby and Mrs. Millard G. Otto, of Dexter and by six grandchildren.
