Obituary	Frederick E. Tate News of the sudden death of Frederick E. Tate of this town, formerly of Biddeford, will be learned with deep regret by his many friends. He passed away late Tuesday afternoon in Dexter, having come to the home of his son, Ervin W. Tate, only three weeks ago from Bath, where he spent the winter. Death followed an operation on his hand made necessary by an accident. It is thought that weak heart was the cause of the coma into which he entered after the operation Monday. The deceased was 77 years of age, and was born in Palmyra. Nearly all his life was spent in Biddeford, where he was engaged in carpentry. About seven years ago he came to Dexter with his wife, Mrs. Emily V. Tate, and they have made their home with their son, going to Bath last fall, just for the season. Funeral services were held this forenoon at 10 o'clock from the home, on Lower Spring street, Rev. W. H. Johnson of the First Baptist church officiating. The family has the deep sympathy of the community.
