Obituary	Amasa Clark Funeral services for Amasa Clark were held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the home of his son, Guy Clark, on Church street, Rev. W. H. Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. The bearers were Peter Vincent, Millard Hatch, Michael Fagan and Edwin A. Shepherd. The remains were placed in the receiving vault and will be interred in the fam- ily lot in Mount Pleasant cemetery in the spring. Mr. Clark died suddenly in New Brunswick, where he has been employed for some time. The remains arrived in Dexter Tuesday morning from Fredericton, N. B. The deceased was born in Hainesville, N. B., 63 years ago but came to Maine as a young man and for many years had been a resident of this town. He was married in early life to Alice Garland of Sangerville, who died several years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Maynard Hatch, of Corinna, and by one son, Guy Clark, of this town; by three granddaughters, Dorothy, Helen and Hazel Clark, all of Dexter; by two sisters, Mrs. John Foss, of Pittsfield, and Mrs. Samuel Hoyt; of Lower Hainesville, N. B. and by three brothers, Benjamin and William, of Hainesville, N. B., and Cleveland Clark of Marysville, N. B. Mr. Clark was a kind father and neighbor and had many friends in this town, who regret his passing. The family has the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
