Mrs. Lenora Nutter Funeral services for Mrs. Lenora Nutter, wife of Scott, Nutter, were held from the home in Ripley Tuesday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock with Rev. Arthur J. Hamilton, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Mrs. Nutter suffered a shock several days ago and passed away Sunday at her home in Ripley. The deceased was born in Bridgewater 68 years ago, the daughter of Charles and Roddy Ann Gilman. She was married to Scott Nutter 46 years ago and had resided in St. Albans, Dexter and Ripley since that time. She was a member of Dexter Grange, Women's Relief Corps and the Methodist church. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Helen Leo, of Dexter, Miss Mabel Nutter of St. Albans, Mrs. Bertha Ireland, of Corinna and Mrs. Ina Littlefield of Ripley, and by two sons, Guy C. Nutter, of Corinna and George Nutter, of St. Albans, by one sister, Mrs. Eva Dearborn, of Bridgewater, and by one brother, Jim Gilman, of Mars Hill, by 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family has the sympathy of many friends.
