Obituary
Ernest L. Colbath Funeral services for the late Ernest L. Colbath were held Sunday afternoon at 2.30 from the home on upper Main street, Rev. W. H. Johnson of the First Baptist Church officiating. The bearers were R. L. Killman, M. D. Russell, Arthur Page, and A. M. Fish. The remains were placed in Mt. Pleasant receiving tomb. Ernest L Colbath was born in Exeter nearly 72 years ago, and lived there until coming to Dexter about 30 years ago. He was united in mar- riage 50 years ago last June to Miss Cora Brown of Exeter, who survives him. He also leaves two sons, Henry J. Colbath of Pottstown, Penn., and George Colbath, of Claremont, Cal. Two brothers survive him, E. E. Colbath and George F. Colbath, of Exeter. He has been a member of the Masonic lodge in Corinna, for many years. During his lifetime Mr. Colbath was engaged in carpentry but for the past two years, because of failing health, he has been less active. Mrs. Colbath and the sons have the sympathy of the community in their loss. Henry J. Colbath came from Pottstown to attend the services and the other son, George, telephoned his mother from California a few nights ago.
