Obituary
Mrs. Evvie Fellows Mrs. Evvie Fellows, wife of Samuel L. Fellows, died at her home very suddenly Saturday morning at 8 a. m., death being due to a paralytic shock. Mrs. Fellows was born in Carmel, Aug. 27, 1863, the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Rebecca (Tike) Young, and leaves to mourn her death besides her husband, two sons, Samuel J. Fellows of Dexter and Frank Fellows of St. Albans, also two grandchildren, Samuel W. Fellows of Dexter and Miss Frances Fellows of St. Albans, and a brother, Frank Young, of Colorado. Funeral services were held at the home Monday at 10 a. m., conducted by Rev. Milo Folsom, pastor of the Universalist church of Pittsfield. The arrangements were under the care of Vincent Goforth, funeral director of Hartland. The bearers were George Linnell, Clifford H. Wilkins, Stanley Hanson and Philip Mower, and the interment was in the Pine Grove cemetery in Bangor. Among those present from out of town at the services were Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Fellows and son, Samuel, of Dexter; Mrs. Elizabeth Kennedy, Mrs. Nellie Schwanner and W. H. Fellows of Bangor; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Dyer, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dyer and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dyer of Charleston. The floral offerings were beautiful and among them included an offering from the Grange and one from the neighbors, an expression of the esteem in which she was held. Mrs. Fellows had been in poor health for years and had been tenderly cared for, and much sympa- thy is expressed to the bereaved family in their loss of a dear wife, mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed not only in the home, but in the neighborhood, and who leaves many friends who regret her death.
