Miss Palmer was born in Sackville, N. B., 56 years ago, the daughter of Albert and Mary Chase Palmer. She came to Dexter from Bangor three years ago. For many years Miss Palmer lived in Waltham, Mass., and worked in the Waltham watch factory. Later she came to Dover-Foxcroft and lived for a while, and while there became a member of Miriam Chapter, O. E. S.. After returning to Waltham for a short time, her next home was in Dexter. She was a member when quite young of the Baptist church in Sackville. Prayers were said at the home Monday by Rev. Elijah Mercer of the local Methodist church and Tuesday the remains were taken to Bangor and then to her native town, Sackville N. B., for interment. Besides the brother with whom she made her home during the past three years, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Harmon Wrye, of Dover-Foxcroft and two nieces, Mrs. John Anderson and Mrs. Wendell Higgins both of Dexter.
