Obituary
Elwin Leslie Cousins Funeral services, conducted by Rev. H. H. Hayes, were held for Elwin L. Cousins Monday, at the home of a nephew, Harold L. Cousins, where he died Saturday, after a short illness. He was a resident of this town practically all his life. Mr. Cousins was born Oct. 28, 1858 at Parkman, the eldest son of the late Isaac and Louisa King Cousins. The family moved to Dexter when he was a small child. For many years he occupied the family farm in Owlsborough section of this town. About ten years ago he moved to the village and built himself a home on the Dover-Foxcroft road, where he has since resided. He never married. Besides the nephew here, his survivors are two brothers, L. B. Cousins and Dr. F. A. Cousins, both of Guilford and another nephew, F. E. Cousins, of Portland. The bearers were John Chandler, Charles Chandley, Joe Parkman and Lee Killman.
