Obituary
Edwin F. Lamb Born in Dexter, 1859. Started his career at 19 as a clerk and steward at the Exchange hotel then owned by Col. W. G. Morrill. When 21, he went to Boston to the United States hotel and subsequently was a well known figure at the Old Adam's House and the Parker House. In connection with these employments he was sent to manage summer hotels in Maine and New Hampshire and for sometime was a member of the staff of the famous Poland Spring hotel. He retired from active business in 1915, and since then has spent most of his time in travel. There are few places of interest in the United States that Mr. and Mrs. Lamb have not visited, and on their trips abroad and around the world they seldom confined their itineraries to the regular beaten path of tourists. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma J. Lamb; a sister, Mrs. Annette F. Chesley of North Brooksfield; and three nieces, Mrs. John Roberts and Mrs. Mildred Lamb of Cambridge, Mass., and Mrs. Walter E. Brown of Winchester, Mass.
