Obituary	Mrs.Inez Eaton News of the death early Sunday morning of Mrs. Inez Eaton, wife of Walter N. Eaton of this town, came as a distinct shock to her many friends. She was taken to the Eastern Maine General hospital in Bangor a week ago and Saturday underwent an operation. Mr. Eaton re-turned to Dexter Saturday night, expecting that his wife would recover, but was called back early Sunday morning, arriving just before her passing. The family has the deep sympathy of the community. Mrs. Eaton was, before her marriage, Miss Inez Gordon, born in Dexter, 50 years ago, and has always lived here. She was an active and valued member of the Methodist church and of Dexter Grange, in both of which organizations she will be sadly missed. Besides her husband, she is survived by six children, Maynard, Warren, Joseph, Doris, Wendell and Robert Eaton, all living at the farm home on the Ripley road, a short distance from the village. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Erma Flanders of Dexter and Mrs. Frank Watson of Parkman. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 1:30, standard time, Rev. E. Mercer officiating. The flowers were many and very beautiful, testifying to the high esteem in which Mrs. Eaton was held. The bearers were Adrian C. Robinson, Bradley C. Hopkins, Fred M. Jewett and Jesse Ward. Interment was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
