Obituary	Mrs. Cordelia Thurston Funeral services for Mrs. Cordelia Thurston were held on Sunday afternoon at the home on Lower Main street, Rev. E. Mercer officiating. The bearers were four nephews, Alton Puffer, Elwin Puffer, F. E. Parkman and J. L. Parkman. There were many beautiful floral tributes. Mrs. Thurston was born in Dexter, 82 years ago, the daughter of the late Mathias Puffer and Abigail Spooner. The greater part of her life was passed in Dexter and Ripley. She was the widow of the late Henry Thurston. She is survived by one son, Harry, of this town and two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Forgette and Mrs. Georgia Burton, also of Dexter; seven grandchildren, Mrs. Vincent Ganeau, Olan, Vernon, Gertrude and Winnifred Burton, of Dexter, Mrs. Carl Hatch of Pittsfield and Cecil Thurston of New Jersey. One brother, Lewis Puffer, of Corinna. Burial was in the family lot in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
