Obituary	Mrs. Melvin F. Shaw The death of Mrs. Gertrude Mason Shaw, 58, wife of Melvin F. Shaw, occurred Saturday night in the Maxim hospital, after a long disability and an operation. The family had been residents of Dexter until going to Dover-Foxcroft about three years ago. Mrs. Shaw was born in Sangerville, the daughter of Jacob and Carrie French Mason, and was a member of Martha Washington Rebekahs and attended the Free Will Baptist church when in Dexter. Surviving are a son and daughter, Robert Shaw of Dexter and Mrs. William Cilley, of Dover-Foxcroft; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Luce of this town and Mrs. Ethel Edgerly of Sangerville. Funeral services were held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, at the residence on Mayo street. Rev. H. H. Hayes officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
