Obituary
Ernest Cloutier The community was shocked this morning to hear of the death of Ernest Cloutier, who had been ill only a little more than a week at his home on Upper Main street. He was born in Dexter 49 years ago, and has spent nearly his entire life in this town, where he has made many friends. He attended Sangerville High school for two years and then went to work in the Dexter Grange store, later working for a number of years for the W. E. Brewster grocery. Then he and his brother, Frank J. Cloutier, went into the grocery and meat business for themselves for a time. Since discontinuing that business be has been employed in the Abbott mill. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Cloutier, and two daughters, Hildegarde, and Leah; by his father, Charles Cloutier, and by the following brothers and sisters: Frank J. Cloutier, Charles O. Cloutier, Eddie Cloutier, Mrs. Olive Dyer, and Mrs. Maud Ronco, all of Dexter and Mrs. Grace Connors of Winchendon, Mass. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Ann's Catholic church.
