Obituary	Waldo R. Winslow Friends of Waldo R. Winslow of this town were sorry to learn of his death Thursday night, Feb. 11, at his home on Spring street after about a year of failing health. He was born in Dexter 76 years ago and except for a few years in Lynn, Mass., has spent his life in this town engaged as painter. He was a man of splendid character, beloved by all who knew him. Mr. Winslow leaves a wife, Mrs. Leila Winslow, a daughter, Mrs. Amy Randall, three sisters, Mrs. Annie Murphy and Miss Sarah Winslow of Dexter, and Mrs. Herbert Trafton of Augusta and a brother, Dr. J. B. Winslow of Westbrook. Funeral services were held Sunday, afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home on Spring street, Rev. Arthur J. Hamilton of the Methodist church officiating. The bearers were Carl Bates, H. L. Cyphers, Walter Rowe and Albert L. Davis.
