Obituary
Frank Mansell The community was shocked Monday morning to hear of the sudden death of Frank Mansell, from heart trouble. He had an ill turn the day before, but seemed much improved Monday morning and was about the house but at 7:30 was suddenly seized with another attack from which he did not recover. He was born in Greenville 58 years ago and lived in that town until about 15 years ago, when he came to Dexter, where he has been employed in the George Park Manufacturing Co. mill, a large part of the time. He was a member of the Odd Fellows. Mr. Mansell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Belle Mansell, by two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Handy and Mrs. Ruth Smart of this town; and by a sister, Mrs. Florence McEachern, of Greenville. The attendance was large at the funeral service held at the home on Lower Main street Wednesday forenoon. The service was most helpfully conducted by Rev Horace H. Hayes of the Free Baptist church. The bearers were all relatives of the deceased, four of them being from Greenville, Paul, Frank, Howard, Leslie and Bennett McEachern. Other bearers were Raleigh Smart and Paul Vaughn of Dexter. The relatives accompanied the remains to Greenville where Odd Fellow services were conducted from the Methodist church, at 3 o'clock and buriol was in the Greenville cemetery.
