Obituary
Friends of J. T. Moses and Mrs. Luella Hutchins sympathize with them in the death of their brother, George Moses, 59, at a Bangor hospital, May 19, caused by injuries received in an automobile accident May 15, near Townsends Hill, Newport, when he was returning from his work at the Moosehead Mill where he was employed as a machinist, to his home in Newport. Mr. Moses was born in Dexter. His parents were Charles H. and Etta (Hinkley) Moses. The Moses family afterwards moved to Corinna, where C. H. Moses was superintendent of the sweet corn factory for many years, and they built the house now owned and occupied by Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Clark on West Main street. George Moses is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eva (McDonough) Moses, a son, Dr. Adolph C. Moses of Newport; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Jones and Mrs. Ruth Williams of Newport and Mrs. Luella Hutchins of Corinna; and two brothers, C. T. Moses of Dexter and J. T. Moses of Corinna. He was a member of Stone Ezel Lodge, I. O. O. F. of Corinna. Funeral services were conducted at the Farnham funeral home with the Rev. John H. Miller, pastor of High Street Church, speaking. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Newport.
