Obituary
Orrin C. Folsom The sudden death of Orrin C. Folsom of this town was learned here with regret Saturday, death having taken place very suddenly at Little Deer Isle, where he was enjoying a vacation. The remains reached Dexter Sunday, and were taken to his home on Witherell's Island, where funeral services were held Monday forenoon at 10 o'clock. Mr. Folsom was a native of Newport, born there about 63 years ago. For the past 24 years he has lived in Dexter and for many years had been state salesman for the Billings-Chapin Paint Co., of Cleveland, Ohio. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Agnes Folsom, of Bangor; a son, Arnold Folsom, of Ohio; three daughters Mrs. Edward Boyle, of Everett, Mass., Mrs. Harold I. Kerin, of Waltham, Mass., and Mrs. Edward Poster of Norwood, Mass.; two sisters also survive him, Mrs. Anna Carlile of Everett, Mass., and Mrs. Weeks of Tacoma, Wash. Rev. William J. Metz officiated at the funeral services and the bearers were Charles S. Brewster, Capt. P. A. Hasty and Erwin Chandler of Dexter and Edward Boyle of Everett, Mass. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
