Obituary	Mrs. Lue Pond The death of Mrs. Lue Pond, wife, of Harry Pond, occurred late Tuesday night at the home on Mill street, after a long illness. She was born in Surry 68 years ago, but spent her early married life in Holden, coming to Dexter about 23 years ago. She was a member of the Congregational church in Holden and at one time belonged to Martha Washington Rebekah lodge in Dexter. Mrs. Pond is survived by her husband, by three grandchildren, Mrs. Beauford Grant, Georgia and Clarence Burrill, all of Bangor and a great grandchild, a daughter of Mrs. Grant; also by two brothers, and two sisters: Mrs. Belle Burrill of Washington, Mrs. Ruby Sides of Colorado, Arthur Young of New York and Jerome Young of East Surry. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, E. S. T. from the home, Rev. Elijah Mercer of the Methodist church officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
