Obituary	George F. Morrison George F. Morrison passed away Thursday, June 28, at his home on Railroad avenue, afer a brief illness. He was born in Patten in 1858, the son of the late Sylvanus and Nancy Freeman Morrison, and came to Dexter about 35 years ago. In early life he married Miss Vila Davenport, who survives him, besides two brothers and one sister and two half-sisters Alonzo Morrison, J. D. Morrison of Dexter; Mrs. May Drake of Yakima, Wash.; Mrs. Wm. Weed of Lewiston and Mrs. Frank Dearborn of Gardiner, also several nieces and nephews. Mr. Morrison was a kind neighbor and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand and will be missed not only in the home but by many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, Rev. Wm. J. Metz of the Universalist church officiating. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers. The bearers were Edward Pendexter, Everett Bennett, Cecil Williams and Sam Staples. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
