Obituary
Wm. W. Thompson William W. Thompson, 66, well known and a highly respected resident, died suddenly Monday morning. He was taken ill soon after going to his work, living but a short time after being taken home. Mr. Thompson was born in Dexter, lived in Sangerville for 22 years and in Dexter for the past 21 years. He had been in the textile industry nearly all his life, long as spinning-room foreman. He was a member of Penobscot lodge, F. and A. M., and St. John R. A. C. of Dexter, Mt. Moriah Council and De Molay Commandry Knights Templars of Skowhegan and was a charter member of Anah Temple Mystic Shrine, transferring from Kora Temple; also a member of Bedivere lodge, K. of P. of Dexter. He is survived by his daughter, Miss Ruth Thompson of Dexter and two sons, Ralph and Ray Thompson, of Fairfield; also by his brother, Ern- Marsh, Mrs. Lillian Dearborn and est, and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Mrs. Daisy Babcock, all of Dexter. Mrs. Thompson died about four years ago. Funeral services were at the residence Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. W. J. Metz officiating, and with Masonic honors.
