Obituary	Mrs. Cora Ordway The death of Mrs. Cora Ordway occurred Sunday at her home on lower Spring street, after a long illness. She was born in Dexter, 74 years ago, the daughter of the late Rufus and Ellen Lovejoy Curtis. She was the widow of the late John Albert Ordway, who died a few years ago. Mrs. Ordway was a member of the Universalist church and of the Woman's Mission Circle, and a former member of Rebecca Weston Chapter, D. A. R. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Justin Bates, with whom she lived; by a grandson, Clarence Bates, of this town; and by a sister, Mrs. Ralph Peavey, of Newton Center Mass. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home, Rev. William J. Metz officiating. The bearers were B. L. Smart and C. A. Sanders of Sangerville and Harry M. and Omar F. Carr of Dexter. Out of town people attending the funeral were: Wade Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Smart, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Sanders, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Herring, Mrs. Harry Merrill, Miss Abbie Fowler and Mrs. Winslow Thomas, all of Sangerville; and Mrs. Marion Curtis Harrington of Guilford.
