Obituary	Charles W. Eaton, 77, died at his home in Brookville, Mass., Tuesday, April 21. He was a son of the late Warren and Ellen Batchelder Eaton, the last of a family of four brothers and one sister. He spent his early life in Dexter, leaving here about forty years ago for Bangor, where he resided several years, then went to Massachusetts, where he was engaged in the meat business in Boston for some time. He was twice married, His first wife being Hannah Chadbourne, who died in early womanhood. His second wife, Rae Robinson Eaton, survives him. He also leaves one son, Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Dennen, Mrs. Ellen Tisdale and Mrs. Mary Sole, all of Massachusetts. There are nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Dexter Methodist Church Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Gilman Lane was the clergyman. Bearers were three nephews, Maynard Joseph and Robert Eaton, and a son in law, Arnold Sole. Floral tributes were many and beautiful. Out of town relatives at the funeral were his widow and son, Mrs. Rae Eaton and Charles Eaton, Brookville, Mass.; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sole, Holbrook, Mass.; Mrs. Dorothy Dennen, Sharon, Mass.; Mrs. Ellen Tisdale, Brockton, Mass.; Mrs. Marion Rideout Weymouth, Mass,; Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson, York Beach, Me.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Robinson, Fairfield, Me.; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Starbird, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Starbird, Evie Starbird, Mrs. Denton Ayers, Dover-Foxcroft; and Miss Norma Starbird, Waterville.
