Obituary	Mrs. Katherine C. Boyd Mrs. Katherine C. Boyd, 61, widow of William Boyd, died last Thursday at her home, after a brief illness. She was born in Wallace, N.S., but had spent the most of her life in Dexter. A son, Clarence W., and a daughter, Mrs. Amasa Howe, live in Boston. She also leaves four sisters, Mrs. A. W. Keyte of Dexter; Mrs. Laura Johnson of Halifax; Mrs. Nell Betts of New Glascow, N. S., and Mrs. Mary Underwood, also a brother, Wallace McCarty of Malagash, N. S. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, Rev. Horace H. Hayes of the Free Baptist church officiating. The bearers were Peter S. Plouff, Millard G. Otto, Dr. L. E. Kelley and Clarence H. Crosby. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
