Obituary	Mrs. Ella Brown Jewell Mrs. Ella Brown Jewell, wife of Vernon H. Jewell, passed away at her home on the old Newport road Friday morning, after an illness of several months. The deceased was born in Orrington 51 years ago, the daughter of Charles and Hattie Tucker Brown. She was a member of Dexter Grange, and was a woman of sterling qualities, who enjoyed a wide circle of friends. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Linwood Seavey, of Dexter, a son, Clifton Jewell of Dexter, and a brother, Charles Brown of Princess Anne, Md. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. E. Mercer of the Methodist church officiating. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers, testifying to the high esteem in which she was held.
